You’re more likely to know Petra tou Romiou by the name of Aphrodite’s Rock. Legend has it that this is the place where Aphrodite first left the sea. Being the goddess of love, this is the perfect location to catch the romantic sunset with your loved one. This is a popular spot during the day, but as the sun starts to set, the tourists tend to leave, so you can enjoy the sunset in a tranquil atmosphere and take some stunning photos too.

 

Paphos Medieval Castle

For a view that looks as if it’s straight out of a movie, head to the medieval castle at Paphos harbour. During the day a visit to the castle can be a welcome break from the midday sun, but as the sun goes down, it is transformed into something rather magical. A gentle stroll along the Paphos seafront at sunset is great post-operative exercise.

 

Larnaca Salt Lake

For the most gorgeous panoramic vistas for the perfect sunset, Larnaca Salt Lake is well worth a visit. You can see a beautiful sunset here at any time of the year, but in the winter, you may also have the chance to see some of the many species of birds who make the lake their home, if you’re lucky, you may even see flamingos!

 

Lover’s Bridge

With a name like Lover’s Bridge, you won’t be surprised to hear that this location is very beautiful and extremely romantic! This bridge across into the ocean has been entirely created by nature, it’s certainly a unique sight to behold. It’s a stunning location any time of day, but add in a sunset and it’s truly captivating. You’ll find Lover’s Bridge within the Cape Greco National Forest Park.

 

Paphos Promenade

If the sun is starting to set and you’re worried about getting to a location that’s a little further away, just take a stroll to Paphos Promenade instead. Why not take a seat at one of the sea front bars and sit back to enjoy the view of the sunset with a refreshing drink.
